Speaking on the launch of the series, National Coach Development Lead for Women & Grassroots, Bex Garlick, said: “Following on from our previous webinars and other events we delivered to support female coaches last season, we have listened to some of the challenges that women and girls face on their coaching journey within grassroots football. This feedback has helped to shape our ‘Women in Coaching’ offer for this season, as we aim to provide accessible content at a national level, whilst also enabling female coaches to build their networks locally and see the content being brought to life on the grass by our coach development team. This will be crucial to building confidence and ensuring that coaches feel supported.”

This season’s webinar series is aligned to our wider work around ‘Female Friendly Clubs’ and how we can develop environments that encourage more women and girls to get involved in football and help clubs to grow participation in this area, with specific workshops taking place throughout the season.
